Senior Chiller Technician

We are looking to hire a senior Chiller Technician to focus on the repair, maintenance and operation of chiller systems.
Job Description
Installation, Maintenance, and Repair: Installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of chillers, including centrifugal, screw, and absorption chillers.
Routine Inspections and Preventive Maintenance: Conducting regular inspections and performing preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of chiller systems.
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical malfunctions in chiller systems.
Service Requests: Responding to and fulfilling service requests related to chiller systems.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of service work, inspections, and repairs.
Safety Compliance: Ensuring all work is performed safely and in accordance with relevant safety standards.
Customer Communication: Interacting with clients to explain issues and recommendations related to chiller systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
HVAC/R Expertise: Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning and refrigeration principles.
Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems in chiller systems.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to chiller maintenance and repair.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
EPA Certification: EPA Type II or Universal certification is required.
Experience with Specific Chiller Types: Some positions may require experience with specific types of chillers, such as centrifugal chillers.
Experience with Data Centers: Some positions may require experience with data centers and their unique cooling requirements.
Requirements
High school or equivalent
Commercial HVAC experience
Clear and valid driver's license
EPA Certification a plus
Texas HVAC Technician Registration a plus
HVAC Trade School degree and OSHA 10 Hour training are a plus
Back Flow License a plus
